PTP provided great super user support, and that did a lot to enhance adoption. PTP is great at collaboration and very flexible. When we brought up an issue, they worked with us almost instantly to figure it out. Onsite management always responded quickly with redeployment needs.
The noise level has gone down dramatically for the physicians because PTP definitely knows their stuff. They know Epic's software. They have a number of physicians in their company, so they clearly get the physicians' viewpoint, which is often lost on IT people. They have been very helpful. And the added benefit of using PTP is that they are very oriented toward our speech recognition product, so our use of that product has suddenly increased.
The Simulation Labs tied all the pre-go live training together for our providers to feel ready and comfortable at go-live.
We deployed PTP all over the place in the clinical areas. They were out there. They were visible. They helped our super users along by directly helping staff members, physicians, or whoever they were working with. They really made an effort to communicate concerns they identified and to ask about workflows they were not clear on so they could make sure they were not putting out the wrong information.
The competence and communication skills of the support personnel were truly exceptional. Physician Technology Partners was absolutely essential, and a key reason the implementation was successful. We liked them so much we brought them back for an additional go-live.
Since I started using Dragon Medical, my documentation is more thorough, and I am not taking stacks of charts home any more!
Physician Technology Partners delivered a complete Dragon solution for Epic content integration, training and support and did all this in a very efficient and timely manner.
We had deployed the Dragon system in our EDs with no training and were fortunate to get connected with Physician Tech Partners. Their staff spent one week with our 45 physicians and elevated us to a very high level of efficiency. The staff of PTP was professional and knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anyone deploying the Dragon system in their institution.
You have put together an impressive team. Without you, your product, and team, our go-live would have been the success we feel it has been.
The training, trainer, and manual provided were first rate. I returned to my office that afternoon and began using Dragon immediately. It has enabled me to use Epic for consult notes in an efficient matter.
